Office Music
What’s the most important thing when opening our office every morning? Making sure the coffee maker works? Perhaps. Reviewing all our client deadlines? Most likely. Checking to see if there are doughnuts in the break room? No, but it should be. So, what is step one to every day? Choosing the proper music. Music sets the tone in our office on a daily basis. Is it cloudy outside and overcast with a chance of rain? Rainy day reggae it is! If the sun is shining and the vibes are good, you best believe we’re putting pop music on (we’re looking at you Gaga). If it’s Monday morning and everyone is a little upset at the world, let’s go ahead and crank up the 90s Hip Hop or Rage Against The Machine station. You see, music feeds our creative souls and there is a direct correlation between productivity and awesome music in our office. Don’t believe us? Just visit the office when our speakers aren’t working. The office can get a little…dark. Fear not, that is a rare occasion. Most of the time we have a good blend of pop, reggae, folk, rock, and hip hop. However, when the caffeine is turned up to 11 we turn on dubstep and some of our most abstract wacky work is created. Basically, we turn into a bunch of Jackson Pollock enthusiasts. In an industry like ours it is important to find inspiration and motivation anywhere we can. For many of us that inspiration is provided by way of sonic vibrations. Check out some of our team members favorite stations!
